Herefordshire Heartstart is run by a dedicated group of Trustees, supported by a committee, the charity coordinator and a team of volunteers.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life. We are able to provide training and encourage our volunteers to become active participants in the community. Teaching members of the public emergency life support skills. These are the actions that are required to keep someone alive until professional help arrives.

Our committee is made up of volunteers, as well as representatives from other local organisations. These organisations include Wye Valley NHS Trust, local businesses and schools.

The Trustees have a strong vision for the future of the charity.
Our charity coordinator does just that! She coordinates the volunteers, bookings, publicity and all events. She is your first point of contact with our charity and looks forward to hearing from you.
Our current coordinator is Sarah Grimes. She has been coordinator for just over three years. Previously, Sarah was a teacher and has extensive knowledge of the Heartstart school scheme within a primary school setting as well as a being a volunteer delivering the community Heartstart scheme to members of the public.
