At the end of August our Charity Coordinator along with a volunteer from Herefordshire Heartstart attended the Mad Dash Fun Raft Race. This was held at Hereford Rowing Club. During the day our friendly volunteers, in glorious sunshine, informed members of the public all about our charity and what we do for the people of Herefordshire.
This event was organised by Nick Wood of Madsat Raft Race Team. All proceeds from this event were shared between Herefordshire Heartstart, St Michael’s Hospice and The Guide Dog Association. Herefordshire Heartstart received a very generous donation of £190. We would like to say a very big thank you to Nick and his team as well as the participants and spectators that day.
We look forward to next year’s event and you never know… we may even enter a team!
