• A mixture of audio-visual and practical demonstrations with plenty of time to practice skills and ask questions
• Fully supported by our trained volunteers

• The Heartstart emergency life support skills training course is aimed at people like you
• ANYONE over the age of 10 may attend
• Bring friends, family and neighbours to become a group of potential lifesavers
• You need no medical knowledge to attend

Our 2-hour course covers:

• The Chain of Survival
• The Conscious Casualty
• The Recovery Position
• The Unconscious Casualty 
• CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and Defibrillation
• Heart Attack
• Choking

• Public Heartstart courses are FREE
• Donations are welcomed at the end of the course. These support our charity with the replacement of consumables and towards volunteer training
• We charge a small fee to local businesses, GP surgeries, dental practices and schools/colleges (please enquire)

• Anywhere - at a venue local to you - just ask
• Your place of worship, a sports club or village hall
• Scouts/Guides
• WI or Good Neighbour Groups
• Any school, community group or the local pub

• Complete a booking request form (below)
• Please allow 4-weeks notice for private course bookings and 6-weeks notice for public course bookings
• We can accept booking requests for courses Monday-Saturday (am or pm).  Subject to volunteer and venue availability.
• We run courses for a minimum of 6 people and maximum of 24 people.
